This week Google launched the "Google Reader Play", a trial site showing a new way to browse the Internet, with enough visual appeal. The interface shows only one story at a time, focusing in photos, videos, graphics and maps.

"We think the 'Reader Play' is a fun way to look at Internet items that you would not find otherwise, "said Garret Wu, one of the developers of the project, the company's official blog.

Unlike the "Google Reader", where users are enrolled in the sites that they like to receive updates, "Google Reader Play "requires no registration. The new reader saves the preferences of users as the Internet user mark, with a star, which it find interesting. According to Wu, the site was developed for people do not want to waste time choosing the sites to visit.

Due the easy way that the software works and it focus on the images the American newspaper "The New York Times speculates that Google may soon adapt the site for the Television emissions. "While Google does not put the television as description of the product, many people believe that it could be used on a computer connected to a big screen, "the newspaper said.

It's quite nice, allows you to discover something you might have missed out and encourages you to slow down.
