How to know where new articles are in the Café ?
Mar 15 at 8:18pm
You may ask how to know when new articles are posted on SoftCity Café.
There is a very simple way : RSS.
You can spot the rss link in the footer of the site. You just have to use your favorite reader.
You can also find a list given by Max here, or use Google Reader.
For now, you just have a single RSS with all new articles from all channels. In a not so far future, you will have on by channel, or expert, even for search result.
Try it, it's so simple

SoftCity Café
The SoftCity Café is the first real user and developer community. It’s a social commerce network which allows users to help one another and rise up in status in the community.
The SoftCity Café allows members to build their own following. They earn SoftDollars, cash and recognition for services they provide and knowledge they share.
It is a new participative approach to customer relationships. Users are asked to participate in the design of new innovative software products, surveys, focus groups and beta testing.

Would it be possible for you to store everytime a user log and create a page showing all new posts since the last login and call this page something like "What's new"
Should help poeple coming on a regular basis to immediately access what they want to read.
My 2 cents...

Olivier, this is already planned, but not for the next releases. In the meantime, you can use the RSS feed.

There is no specific page for that. You can send private messages to Marc and me, and we will concider you proposition. That's true for everybody ;)

Looking forward to the "What's new" feed, as actually RSS still sounds like "°)=$$¤¤" to me (I'm just a tad exagerating).

SoftCity has a Twitter account. We tweet what's new around the Cafe and interact with our users.
Our Facebook account could also use some love!
